This is one of our favorite herbal indulgences, a nourishing bath of soothing, skin-repairing herbs. These plants are also packed with volatile oils that are antibacterial + antiviral, supporting your skin’s function as the body’s first line of defense.

Chamomile + calendula flowers are two of the best plant medicines for healthy skin. Both are highly aromatic + packed with essential oils which are deeply wound-healing +antimicrobial. Calendula promotes cellular recovery + growth, while chamomile is anti-inflammatory + soothing to tissues.

Tulsi is also an excellent skin herb, since it is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial + antioxidant, which has rejuvenating effects on skin tissue + tone.

Marshmallow root + leaf are slippery, mucilaginous + cooling, softening + soothing for inflamed tissues both internally + externally.

Hydrosols are distilled flower waters, medicinal oils and terpenes (plant chemicals)

released into spring water. Hydrosols are a topical infusion of plant medicine. They

provide direct support for skin, our largest organ mediating exposure + responses to physical environment. Tulsi is a powerhouse of strong antimicrobial chemistry. Rose geranium is a fragrance that goes straight to your heart.

Flower essences are infusions of a single flower into spring water beneath sun + moon. They have an ethereal energy which speaks less to a particular body system + more directly to our emotions. Marshmallow flower essence brings an expanding fullness of feeling + possibility.
